2. What this policy covers

How we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you visit www.fnclabs.co.za, submit our quote form, or email us. We process personal information in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) where it applies.

3. Information we collect

Enquiry / quote form: name, business name, industry, package interest, WhatsApp number or email, and optional notes you type.
Email / WhatsApp: whatever you choose to send us when you contact hello@fnclabs.co.za or our business WhatsApp (when live).
Technical data: basic server/security logs from our host (Cloudflare), such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested — used for security and reliability.

We do not ask for ID numbers or payment card details on this website.

To respond to quote requests and recommend a package
To prepare quotes, invoices, and delivery kickoff (if you become a client)
To improve our website and prevent abuse
To meet legal or accounting duties where required

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Sharing with service providers

We use trusted processors to run the site and forms:

Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and security for www.fnclabs.co.za
FormSubmit — secure HTTPS delivery of form submissions to our inbox
Zoho Mail — our business email for hello@fnclabs.co.za

They may process data in other countries. We only share what is needed for them to provide the service.

6. Cookies

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this site today. Our host (Cloudflare) may set strictly necessary security or performance cookies. Because we only use necessary cookies, we do not show a consent banner. If we later add analytics or marketing tools, we will update this policy and, where appropriate, ask for consent.

7. How long we keep information

Enquiry details: kept while we handle your request and for a reasonable follow-up period (typically up to 24 months if no contract follows), unless you ask us to delete sooner and we are not required to retain it. Client records: kept for the relationship and as required for tax/company law.

8. Security

We use HTTPS on the website and reputable providers for email and forms. No method of transmission is 100% secure; please avoid sending highly sensitive data via the public form.

9. Your rights

Subject to POPIA, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or object to certain processing. Email hello@fnclabs.co.za. You may also contact the Information Regulator (South Africa) if you have a complaint.

10. Children

Our services are aimed at businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from under-18s via this site.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do.
